December to March is winter here in England, with March typically being the coldest month. The last few years have bought a little snow! March to May is Spring; June to August is Summer, and September to November is Autumn.

If you’re looking to explore, I would avoid December – March as the days are cold, wet and have the least daylight hours however, saying that, December is one of the most magical times to visit – for Christmas! No one does it better than England when it comes to Christmas.

Ah I have so many! Cornwall gives you the gorgeous tropical beaches and surf/ocean lifestyle if that’s your jam, then there’s the stunning Dartmoor National Park which you can wild camp in! If you’re into hiking, The Lake District is amazing and you can climb the tallest mountain in England – Scafell Pike. All of the National Parks are beautiful.

London is of course somewhere you have to experience in your life whether it’s to see the famous landmarks, afternoon tea, the West End, a date night or to catch live music! The energy of the capital is like no other.
