My Travelopo Villa in Mal Pas, Mallorca

Updated On 27th April, 2020

At the beginning of the month I headed out to Mallorca, one of the Balearic Islands in Spain, to explore, relax (a little) and document my stay.
The lovely guys at Travelopo hosted my stay in one of their exclusive villas, and I took along my best friend for the ride.

Our villa was a home away from home, providing all the equipment and amenities to ensure our stay was perfect from the biscuit tins (essential holiday equipment) to the ice cubes ready to go in the freezer.
The villa we stayed in, is one of the more luxurious properties that Travelopo has to offer, with other offerings completely ranging in price.
See the villas they have here
{they also operate in other European countries so if you are planning a trip – check them out!)

Our villa was located on the North East of the island in a quiet little town called ‘Mal Pas’, a short drive from both Pollenca, Alcudia and their ports.

Whilst we could have easily spent the whole week occupied by our villa and meandering down to the local beach (2 minute walk away), if you love to explore, like us, then you will want to grab yourself a hire car to do so… it’s well worth it.
{stay tuned for our adventures on the island}

Our villa was beyond gorgeous and left us feeling totally guilty that there was only two of us here to enjoy the 8 beds that it hosted.
Let me show you around…

The Villa
Lined with white stone floors, contemporary lights and flooded with daylight, our villa instantly gave off a calm and relaxing ambience.
After you have fallen in love with the glass panelled walls surrounding the dining area at the front of the property, you enter the large wooden door which pivots open and reveals THE most gorgeous living room space…

The kitchen, patio and all 4 of the bedrooms (One double + 3 twin rooms) lead off from this central living area and are all located on one single floor, making the lounge the perfect communal area for drinking, eating or relaxing together.
I can imagine this to be the PERFECT villa for a group of friends or a big family.
The layout of the villa keeps the activity very central and makes for the perfect social atmosphere…

There is a pool, a rooftop (accessible via stairs at the side of the villa), a BBQ facility, sun loungers, outside dining furniture, table tennis and even kids play equipment should you come here as a family.
Although we decided to engage in a lot of exploring and even a roadtrip up the west coast, we had a few afternoons lounging by the pool and spent many a breakfast and lunch time dining by the gorgeous palm trees.
Of course with a glass of vino in hand…
We are in Spain after all!

The Bedrooms…
The bedrooms were all clean, contemporary, well equipt and each came with wardrobe space, air con, private ensuites and private dressing areas.

EXTRA INFORMATION:
– There is a big supermarket a 5 minute drive down the road, and should you wish to venture over to Pollenca there is a Lidl which is where we did a big food shop for the week

– Free WIFI is included in the price at the villa
– The villa has electronic gates so should you get a car, it can be kept safe off of the main road
What is there to see in Mallorca?
We took it upon ourselves to venture out of the villa and explore the local surroundings during our week in Mallorca. We stumbled upon many gems and headed into the likes of Pollenca, Old Town Alcudia and Can Picafort to seek the best adventures out there…
STAY TUNED…
WE FOUND SOME GOOD’UNS!
(including an incredible spot to watch the sunset, a hike that leads you to an incredible view over Pollenca Town + spanish villages hidden in the mountains!)

Thank you Travelopo for hosting an incredible stay for us, the villa was absolutely perfect and I already can’t wait to return…
