Breakfast at ‘The Juicery’, 108 Marylebone Lane

 In Uncategorized
Okay so last year I actually begun listening to my mum wise words, I began trying the fresh juices and I started to educate myself on a healthier way of living.

More recently I’ve built juicing into my lifestyle and started working out which foods ‘sit right’ in my body and which simply don’t. I am not a ‘diet’ person, I simply am on a journey to find a way to live healthier, more consistently.
Anywho, after completing my Juice Diary last week, I was invited to an event at 108 Bar + Restaurant, located on Marylebone Lane, W1…
‘A morning with Amelia Freer’

Last year 108 Bar + Restaurant trialled a pop up juicery offering everything from Smoothies, Breakfasts + Juices.
Renowned Nutritional Therapist Amelia Freer is the lady behind this movement and good news… because ‘The Juicery’ was such a success it will now continue to run…

So basically a selection of us were invited to sample the offerings and treats from the Winter 2014 menu.

We kicked things off literally with a ‘Ginger, lemon + cayenne’ shot as we browsed over the menus…

You can have a peek at them here:

Next up, was the Graceful Greens Smoothie.
Spinach, kale, cucumber, parsley, lime, mint, Jax Coco Water
(This was the first time i have had coconut water in a juice! Very yum and adds a natural sweetness!)

Homemade granola, greek yoghurt and mixed berries…

Chia pudding…

After indulging in these yummy samples from the YUMMY menu, we got to sit and listen to Amelia herself and ask her any questions we had…

We then got the opportunity to listen to Amelia’s journey into nutrition and how she works a healthy relationship with food into peoples lives.
As we did so we were given samples of Jax Coco water. (i love).
For people that say eating healthy and eating clean is boring/ tasteless, come here for breakfast and be proved wrong…

After reading the menu and sampling some of it, I will 100% be back. I LOVED the chia pudding, and the granola so i wouldn’t say no to those again.
The waffle with maple syrup and fresh berries along with the Dr. Junger’s Morning Smoothie stood out to me so I think i’m going to squeeze a breakfast date into my diary so that I can try those!
The Juicery is located just off Oxford St. and just a 5 minute was from Bond Street Tube Station.

It’s a little hidden, but as you come out of Bond St. station you will see this purple lamp post…
You then squeeze through the hidden alleyway and walk 5 minutes in that direction through the prettiest little shops.

Couldn’t resist going in here could I…

As pretty as the sweet shop was, I had Amelia in the back of my head saying… ‘refined sugars Mollie, refined sugars’ so I left the shop empty handed and PROUD OF MYSELF.
🙂

Mollie xoxo
